Rally or Anti-Immigration The South Carolina Black Conservative Movement sponsored its first major event on
Saturday, August 7, 2010. The "Anti-Illegal Immigration Rally" was held on the grounds of the State House in Columbia
and from all indications was a huge success. Backing Arizona's tough anti-illegal immigration law and showing support for
South Carolina's own version of the Bill (S1446) was the primary purpose for the rally. One of the highlights for the large ground was a very passionate pro-American speech from State Senator Larry Grooms.
Republican Congressional candidates Jeff Duncan, Jim Pratt, and Tim Scott also gave inspirational speeches. Another wonder
speaker that pumped the patriotic crowd was Republican Sheri Few who's running for SC House Seat 79.
"A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every
government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference." ~ Thomas Jefferson Rowena Booker, organizer of the SC Black Conservative Movement's Rally was garnered support
by the SouthCarolina2010 Group, the 9/12 & various Tea Party Groups, Freedomworks, Carolina Patriots, the Fairfield Fair
Tax Organization and many others. Cayce Councilman Steve Isom and Mayoral candidate Johnny Sharpe were also on hand for the
unifying occasion. Republican candidates Curtis Loftis (Treasurer), Alan
Wilson (Attorney General), and Congressman Joe Wilson's Campaign crew along with Libertarian Congressional candidate Eddie
McCain also attended the Rally and offered their full support for the movement. The crowd was made up of all races and ages
with one primary objective and that's to control illegal immigration by securing our borders and holding the federal government
accountable. It is my sincere hope that more African-Americans will join
groups such as The South Carolina Black Conservative Movement or any organization whose platform is to protect the rights
of all Americans against this or any future tyrannical governments. Visit The SCBCM's Facebook Page or more
