For your Health?Though Obamacare will surely pass due to intense pressure by the president and his
cronies, it will still have many challenges before its implementation which is still years away. I have spent many hours calling and emailing non-conservative republicans and my democrat friends encouraging
them to speak out against the healthcare bill with limited success. Most of democrat friends I spoke with simply believe that
they will get free healthcare and government jobs. This is not only a
future job killer once passed but it has prevented any chance of an economic recovery for over a year. The bill is design to guarantee the democrats tens of millions of votes and to eventually
weaken our republic and break capitalism thus making socialism a "viable" alternative. Many say that it can't happen but this movement has been building steadily since the early 1900's. This
administration and congress is being sacrificed to prove that the will of the people can be broken and disregarded for the
greater good - a new world order. When many people like myself warned
of this decades ago, we were called alarmists and radical extremists. When I forecasted Obama's election to the presidency
back when he first announced his desire to run for US Senate I was considered unrealistic, unknowing, and the pundits said
that this could never happen in America - they are still wrong! The unrealistic
folks are the ones who truly believe that this bill and debate is over healthcare, this is simply about controlling every
aspect of the American way of life. America has proven that foreign powers can not defeat us or destroy our capitalistic nature
from the outside so it must be done domestically and from within our own government. President Obama is being used as a celebrity spokesman and for Chicago-style arm twisting and will become a sacrificial
lamb for the Democratic Party and the socialist movement. When healthcare failed under the Clinton Administration it was determined
that populist Bill Clinton failed to fulfill his promise to socialize medicine. The Clintons have now joined forces with Reid,
Pelosi, and Biden along with the Chicago mob to put it all on the line in the name of transformation. Only people that despise the American way of life and those who totally disregard the validly
of the constitution could even remotely consider ramming this bill down the throat of the American People.

Majority Rules? The principles of the constitution were
developed to protect the minority from the majority or more importantly to protect the people from the government which in
a republic is generally voted in by the majority. Your
representative should be just that – a representative. Yes, our elected officials should have a mind their own but the
closer to the top the less contact our leaders have with the population. This requires that we are very careful in selecting
our local officials who will often run for higher office later in their careers. The President should be the leader of the entire county and stand for the ideals and concerns
of the nation as a whole and should ultimately represent the majority. Our local representatives must fight for those issues that are most important to his constituents. Then
as the representative come together, they must work together to do what’s best for the entire country while maintaining
constitutional consistency and trust. The system will only become as corrupt as “We the People” let it!
If we cast our votes based on character and principle and
not personality we can start to take the county back piece by piece. Nobody is perfect, however by picking
those who have integrity, courage, and patriotic beliefs and by not allowing the parties to select them for us - we can turn
the tide one election at a time.

Political Contributions One of the challenges that we face when
participating in the political process is knowing how our candidates will vote after being elected. Many
of their decisions will be based not just on principle or promises but contributions. I once supported
a candidate for city council who had taken donations from several tow truck contractors; one even held a fundraiser for him
and nothing seemed amiss at the time. Just six months
after the election I found out that the council was proposing a law restricting tow truck drivers from possessing police scanners
and another one that would forbid them from accident scenes unless summoned by authorities or car owners. It was no surprise
that my guy was the only one voting against the laws; I wrote him a nasty letter after he refused to return my calls but he
chose not to respond. I refused to get involved again in city politics for several years because of all the criticism I took
for backing such a spineless worm. Over time I realized that I can not be responsible for every decision that a politician
makes and the greater crime is to withdraw from the political process thus neglecting my civic responsibility.
