Golden Rules! This year will the most defining period in American
history. The traditional values that made America great are under attack from within and all concerned Americans must stand
together and reject the transformation of our system of government into that of a socialistic or possibly even a communist
state. We the people ultimately control this country and only we can reverse the tide. We must get at filibuster
able Senate at a minimum with the primary goal of obtaining a majority. Of course capturing the US House of Representatives
should be our second priority but will be much more difficult. Very few people are involved in the political process and the
majority don’t even vote. The words “My vote don’t count” is pleasing to the ears of opportunistic
power hungry individuals who seek public office for personal gain; the truth is that our vote is everything. However, if you
not concerned with the future of America, tax rates, civil liberties, individual rights, threat of terrorism, or religious
freedom then voting is probably a waste of time. The secret is to get involved and support those who share your values and
hold them accountable for their actions; they work for us and we must not be quite for to them Silence is Golden!
